Oh wait, this isn't my job!! Can't be a job. It's way too much fun! Third day in a row of some hard running with few breaks. Although, we did take a few "lovin" breaks today. They're just doing so darn well. Couldn't resist a few stops just for hugs and loves. Today we did 25 miles and went through, what we call, the big hunter loop. I love to be the first team to put a trail in. We can go where ever we want and the dogs get so attentive.
Hate to report that Batman is back at Happy Trails recuperating. Had a small tangle leaving the yard the other night that resulted in a big fight. For some reason Batman gets ganged up on and I can't seem to stop it. He is, in my extremely humble opinion, Martin's very best young dog. I can't risk him getting hurt so he's back at Happy Trails, spending some quiet time in the new dog barn bonding with Martin, who's spending days working in the dog barn. I'm hoping, when he heals, that Martin will run him and help me to get a handle on what it is about him that is causing these fights. Meantime, I'll be bringing another dog here to "replace" Batman for awhile. Stay tuned to see who that will be....
